Personal:

I was born and raised in Provo, UT.  Other than a short year living in Victorville, CA, I have lived in Utah Valley all my life.  I met my husband at Brigham Young University and we've been married for 17 years.  We have a 14 year old son and 2 Dobermans.

I have been running since 2000, sometimes more off than on, but I enjoy it and have had a lot of great adventures and made many friends through running.

Another quick TM workout.  This time I worked hills--between 1-6% grade.  My knee is still kind of iffy sometimes, so I am slowly trying to work back up to a regular routine. 

I signed up for the Utah Valley Half Marathon in June, so I am excited to have a goal to work towards!  Yeah for races!

A quick interval workout on the treadmill.  Today is a busy day, so the workout was super fast . . . just enough to get the blood pumping.

We just got a treadmill!  Yeah!  I have wanted one for years and am so excited to have more of a reason to train and stay consistent in the winter.  I am so wimpy when it comes to running in the cold, snow, and ice.  I am also a little accident prone, so this will be a huge help to me during the rest of the cold weather.

This morning's run was basically a test run to try out all the features and just get a feel for the treadmill.  Needless to say, it was wonderful and I know I am going to love adding it to my regular routine.

I'm working on getting a couple friends to take the plunge and do the UV 1/2 with me.  They are both runners, but have never done a 1/2 before.  I think they just might join me this year!  Yeah for running buddies!  ;o)
